PORTLAND, OR – The U.S. Forest Service will waive fees at day-use recreation sites in Oregon and Washington Nov. 11 – 12 in honor of Veterans Day.

Veterans from across the country are set to participate in the 10th National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic from Sept. 17-22 in San Diego, California.
VA, in collaboration with founding event sponsor the Veterans Canteen Service and host level sponsors Fisher House Foundation, Cisco and Wyndham by the Bay Hotel, will host more than 120 Veterans with disabilities as they learn cycling, surfing, sailing, kayaking and archery at venues throughout San Diego during the rehabilitation sports and recreation clinic
