Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America has over three decades of experience being effective and successful as a catalyst for positive change
in healthcare, civil rights, accessibility, and education that enhances the quality of life for people with disabilities. However, our greatest
strength is our partnerships with other organizations, agencies, businesses and individuals who believe in our mission.
As an organization, we motivate each other to achieve personal goals in employment, education, and sports/recreation. Common interests build relationships.
We are here to serve you. As a member, we encourage you to be active in our sports and recreation program. As you participate, new opportunities to build
self-esteem and sucess become available. Also, we provide opportunities to volunteer and enhance the life's of others.
Join us and be part of a veterans organization that since 1976, has successfully worked to maximize the quality of life for it's members and all people who have
spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D) as a leading advocate for health care, SCI/D research and education, veterans' benefits and rights, accessibility and the
removal of architectural barriers, sports programs, and disability rights. Read more.....
"Making a Difference That Lasts a Lifetime!"
Welcome to the Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America website. Take a moment to familiarize yourselves with who we are and what we are about. As you navigate through our site you will see the many ventures our members and volunteers have participated in. We also hope you find something of interest, and it calls to you to get involved. We here at the Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America are dedicated to serving not only those catastrophically injured veterans who have gave so much but also to serving our community as a whole. Come on out deep sea fishing, assist us at a Veterans stand-down, donate and support your favorite program, but most importantly, get involved!
