Other Ways to Give
Matching Gifts
More than 1,000 corporations and organizations in the United States offer programs to employees that match charitable contributions, either whole or in part. In some cases, gifts from spouses, directors, and retired employees are also eligible for a match. To find out if a matching gift program is available where you work, check with your company's Human Resources, Finance, or Payroll department.
Typically, if a matching gift option is available through your company, after the appropriate paperwork is completed your employer will send us a check that matches, doubles, or, in some cases, even triples your gift to us. This donation comes to us in addition to your original contribution, and is no additional cost to you. With the help of your employer, you can ensure that your giving dollar is stretched to the maximum benefit for veterans.
